Students will be introduced to basic methods of psychological assessment including test construction and interpretation as well as the measurement of mental health. Describe the objectives of psychological assessment and their relationship to the theory and practice of assessment. 1. The field of assessment is an evolving and dynamic one which includes the following areas: clinical, educational, industrial, forensic, medical, business, organizational, social and other areas. It will also highlight relevant theories of measurement including those of validity and reliability along with the use of research methodology as a basis for interpretation.
