I. COURSE OVERVIEW: This course explores issues related to the counseling of young people from adolescence through adulthood. The central issues and challenges in working with this population will be examined, including psychosocial development, diagnostic concerns, social and legal issues, strengths and difficulties, consultation and collaboration with other mental health professionals, culturally sensitive practices, and ethical issues.
